Based in New York City, Moira is the Editor, Office of Global Insight + Policy (OGIP) at UNICEF. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of Communications at the Institute for New Economic Thinking.
Moira is a 2004 Mitchell Scholar. She received a Master's Degree in International Relations from University College Cork. Her thesis examined how Ireland, a country traditionally associated with emigration, was handling the arrival of an immigrant labor force attracted by the economic boom. During her scholarship year, Moira also freelanced as a journalist and interned with Ireland’s national broadcaster, Radió Telefís Eireann, working on the television show Nationwide.
Moira obtained her undergraduate degree from Brown University.
