Mike is the CEO and founder of Meeshkan, a machine learning company. Living in Espoo, Finland, Mike is a musician, singer and composer. He also collaborated with the IRCAM (http://www.ircam.fr) as a computer music director for various projects. Concerts of his works this year have taken place at Festspillene i Bergen, IRCAM, Théâtre du Rond Point (Paris), and Avignon Festival. A 2006 Mitchell Scholar, Mike received a Master's Degree in Music Composition from Queen's University, Belfast and sang for the University Big Band. He performed all over Northern Ireland and developed strong links to the local music community. Following the completion of his studies in Ireland he went on to pursue a PhD from the University of Florida. Mike feels he would not be the director of a European contemporary music ensemble were it not for his time as a Mitchell Scholar. Michael obtained his undergraduate degree from Stanford.
