Victoria is a film producer and a widely published writer of both fiction and poetry. She is the creator of the PBS documentary, "Atomic Echoes: Untold Stories from World War II" (2025). Her most recent book is Homefront (University of Nevada Press, 2024), a story collection about women impacted by war. Her debut novel, Mrs. Houdini, was published by Simon & Schuster/Atria, in 2016 to critical acclaim. Her debut poetry collection, When the Men Go Off to War, was published by the Naval Institute Press in September 2015. As a 2007 Mitchell Scholar, Victoria received a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from Trinity College Dublin, which inspired her to continue making writing and creativity the focus of her career. She went on to pursue an MFA in Fiction at the Iowa Writers' Workshop, the oldest writing program in the United States. Victoria obtained her undergraduate degree from Harvard. She's a mom of three daughters and lives in Virginia.
