Jeffrey lives in Louisville, Kentucky and works in Frankfort for the Commonwealth’s unified court system in an office overseen by Kentucky’s Chief Justice. He is also representing sexual assault victims in the Army JAG Reserves as his primary duty as a Reservist.

As military prosecutor, he previously served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, He served in eastern Afghanistan, where he spent a year practicing military operational law.

Jeff is a 2008 Mitchell Scholar.  He received an MA in Musicology from the National University of Ireland Maynooth.  An accomplished musician himself, his thesis research examined the role of musicians in political structures as recorded in historical Irish annals.  Jeff's undergraduate thesis research at Vanderbilt University also examined musicians but looked at their role in espionage throughout European history.  In addition to studying with a diverse international student population in Ireland, Jeff took the opportunity to travel around Europe and learn about a variety of cultures, experience that is especially helpful to him today as he works with internationals in his professional capacity.

Jeff is passionate about his work as part of the  U.S. Army JAG Corps.

Jeff obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.
