Sarah David serves as Deputy State Prosecutor for the Maryland Office of the State Prosecutor, which handles political corruption and misconduct cases throughout the State of Maryland. Sarah previously served as Chief of Staff for Maryland State Senator Bobby Zirkin, Chairman of the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee and worked as a prosector in Baltimore City where she was assigned to the prosecution team tasked with prosecuting the police officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray. A 2008 Mitchell Scholar, Sarah received a Master's Degree in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queen's University Belfast. During her time in Belfast, she worked as a coach with Public Achievement, an organization focused on teaching young people to participate in political dialogue as an alternative to violence. Studying the conflicts in Northern Ireland and other parts of the world was of great help to Sarah when she returned to the United States and began working as an Intelligence Research Specialist for the Counterterrorism Bureau of the New York City Police Department. Sarah obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University and her law degree at University of Maryland School of Law.
