Chris is the President & CEO of United Way of Greater Kansas City. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of Teach For America Kansas City. In that role, he supported 100 teachers and 300 alumni serving 10,000 low-income kids in his hometown. Prior to this position, he served as a Senior Analyst and Program Manager with the Federal Reserve System, where he oversaw a major overhaul of IT security measures for the Reserve Bank’s data centers. Chris is a 2009 Mitchell Scholar. He studied Violence, Terrorism and Security Studies from Queen's University, Belfast. His thesis research examined the economic dynamics of conflict and built upon research he conducted in the Middle East while pursuing a Master's Degree in International Economics and International Relations at John Hopkins University. Chris obtained his undergraduate degree from William Jewel College.
