Katie Boyle is a General Partner at Andreesen Horowitz. Prior to that, she was a Partner General Catalyst Partners. She received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in June. While at Stanford, Katie was the MBA research and teaching assistant to Dr. Condoleezza Rice. Prior to Stanford, Katie was a reporter for the Washington Post, and covered a wide range of social, political and cultural topics in Washington D.C. Katie is a 2009 Mitchell Scholar who was inspired to become a journalist after her year

studying Intellectual Property and Development at the National University of Ireland Galway. Living in Galway, she immersed herself in the creative community and was particularly engaged by Ireland's storytelling culture. As a writer and journalist, Katherine was able to explore the legal, artistic and business issues which are challenging and shaping the media as the industry evolves in concert with technology. Katie obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.
