Ivan is the Foreign Affairs and Human Rights Advisor to Congressman Suozzi (D-NY). Ivan graduated with a master's degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard. He also completed a fellowship at the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School. He thn worked as the 2019 - 2020 George N. Lindsay Legal Fellow at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. He obtained his JD from Georgetown after serving as the Founding Dean of Culture at KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy in Philadelphia, PA. At KIPP DuBois, he developed a human rights enrichment curriculum and a restorative justice-based character development model and curriculum. Ivan is a co-founder of Anseye Pou Ayiti, an organization that is leading a movement to transform education outcomes in rural areas of Haiti by recruiting outstanding Haitian teacher leaders and using innovative pedagogical approaches rooted in Haitian culture, customs and community. From 2011 – 2012, Noisette studied Human Rights Law & Transitional Justice as a Mitchell Scholar at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland. During his time in Northern Ireland, he interned with the Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities, drafting portions of the organization’s Racial Equality Strategy. Ivan is a graduate of Villanova University where he studied Political Science, with concentrations in Africana Studies, Peace & Justice, and History.
