Mohammad Modarres is a UX Producer at Rivian. Before working for the EV company, he was the founder and CEO of Abe's Eats, an award-winning food venture that produced the first-ever Halal and Kosher "Interfaith Meat" to help Muslim and Jewish communities eat from the same plate, while helping food businesses be more inclusive to these consumers as they saved time, money, inventory space, and food waste with Abe's 2-in-1 product. In the process, Mohammad became a 2x TED Resident and NPR How I Built This Fellow entrepreneur. Prior to founding a food venture, Mohammad co-founded and consulted in the biotech industry. A 2012 Mitchell Scholar, Mohammad spent two years in Ireland and received a Masters of Science in Development Practice from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin after completing his public health studies degree from Johns Hopkins University.
