Wardah is a Resident Physician at Johns Hopkins. She recently graduated with her MD from the Yale School of Medicine. Upon completion of her studies she would like to go into residency program in neurosurgery or geriatrics.
Wardah considers her year in Ireland to be especially beneficial for her and her career goals because she received a lot of exposure of different kinds of scientific techniques. She says that only Ireland could offer such a great interdisciplinary connection between basic science and medicine - Ireland is a tech hub so it was unique in its intersection with medicine. Being able to study and explore this concept - translational medicine–at Trinity was the highlight of her year.
A 2014 Mitchell Scholar, Wardah studied Bioengineering at Trinity College Dublin. During her year in Ireland she also served as a Research Assistant for the Regenerative Medicine Research Group at Trinity.
Wardah obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.
