Keelie has been named Artistic Director of the Irish Classical Theatre Company. Previously, she was Artist In Residence-Acting and Directing at Union College in New York, and before that, Assistant Professor at University of North Alabama's new Cinematic Arts and Theatre program where she had the opportunity to shape a film & theatre BFA from the ground up.

She has been on faculty at the City College of New York (Department of Theatre & Speech) and at Brooklyn College (Department of Theatre) where she taught acting, on-camera acting and scene study.

She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Stella Adler Studio, HB Studios and the Niall O’Leary School of Dance. She holds a MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College. As a 2016 Mitchell Scholar, she received a MFA with Distinction in Theatre Directing at Trinity’s Lir Academy.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from SUNY Empire State College.
