Over time, they will rebuild the software stack that governments use to disburse over $1T in benefits to the millions of Americans that depend on them to make ends meet. Prior to that, Rishi wass a Product Lead @ Cash App where he worked on features to help millions of Americans save and manage their finances on the app. Prior to that, he spent his career at the intersection of consumer finance, technology, and public policy with previous roles at fintech startups in NYC and in India as a Luce Scholar in addition to serving as a Director's Analyst at the CFPB under Director Richard Cordray. A 2016 Mitchell Scholar, Rishi obtained a Master's Degree in Economics at Trinity College. While in Ireland Rishi rowed with the Dublin University Boat Club, served as Editor in Chief of the Trinity Postgraduate Review, and published his graduate research exploring discrimination on Airbnb with Oxford Economic Papers. Rishi obtained his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley.
