Emma is pursuing a PhD in English at Harvard. She is a 2017 Mitchell Scholar who studied Playwriting at the Lir. Emma graduated from Harvard where she studied English. She served as the Fiction Editor for The Harvard Advocate and previously oversaw the weekly Arts cover for The Harvard Crimson. She produced three shows and stage-managed two for the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club. Her play, GHOST, was produced in the Adams Pool Theatre at Harvard, and her play The Revivalists, written as her senior thesis, was awarded the Thomas T. Hoopes Prize for outstanding undergraduate work. Emma's time at the Lir culminated in her writing a new, full-length play, excerpts from which will be performed at the 2017 Dublin Fringe Festival. Emma obtained her undergraduate degree from Harvard.
