Phillip is a pediatric critical care fellow at Johns Hopkins University, moving down I-95 after completing pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a 2017 Mitchell Scholar who studied Global Health at Trinity, and he is planning a career in global pediatric critical care and resuscitation. After majoring in African Studies as an undergrad at Yale, he spent some time on a pediatric cancer ward in Tanzania run by an Irish doctor, Trish Scanlan. Her mentorship led him to pursue medical school and forge a path in global health work. Phillip obtained his undergraduate degree from Yale.
