Ellie is a medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Fellow in the Genome Dynamics Section of the NIDDK/NIH.

Ellie was a 2018 Mitchell Scholar and pursued an MA in Gender, Sexuality and Culture.

Throughout college, Ellie worked as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad.  As a research assistant at Children’s National Medical Center, Ellie used data from a trauma registry and GIS mapping to identify neighborhoods where certain types of injuries were more prevalent, giving her fellow health educators information to better hone their outreach efforts.  With a grant from Princeton, Ellie led a Trans Healthcare trip to New York City where students investigated the relationship between gender expression and how it affects access to healthcare.

Ellie obtained an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Princeton.
