Tyler, a graduate of Georgetown Law School, is an associate at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, CD where he works on litigation and white collar matters. Prior to that he clerked for Judge McKinley, a federal trial court judge, on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Tyler was a 2018 Mitchell Scholar and obtained an MA in International Relations. Tyler was an Honors Scholar, the starting quarterback of the Division I EKU football team, served on the EKU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and competed on the Mock Trial team. In the summer of 2015, Tyler and his teammates traveled to Haiti and built an aquaponics system for an orphanage. He served his local Kentucky community helping to resettle a Syrian refugee family in Lexington and teach a U.S. citizenship class for refugees. Tyler obtained his undergraduate degree in Globalization and International Affairs from Eastern Kentucky University.
