Tyler, a graduate of Georgetown Law School, is an associate at Linklaters LLP in Washington DC. Prior to that, he was at Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, where he worked on litigation and white collar matters. He also clerked for Judge McKinley, a federal trial court judge, on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Tyler was a 2018 US-Ireland Alliance Scholar and obtained an MA in International Relations at University College Dublin. As a student at Eastern Kentucky University, he was an Honors Scholar, the starting quarterback of the Division I EKU football team, served on the EKU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and competed on the Mock Trial team. In the summer of 2015, Tyler and his teammates traveled to Haiti and built an aquaponics system for an orphanage. He served his local Kentucky community by helping to resettle a Syrian refugee family in Lexington and teaching a U.S. citizenship class for refugees. Tyler obtained his undergraduate degree in Globalization and International Affairs from Eastern Kentucky University and his JD from Georgetown University.
