Becca is a lawyer at Clifford Chance in Washington, DC. She graduated from Georgetown Law where her focus was in the National Security Specialization Program. She attended New York University for her undergraduate degree in Social and Cultural Analysis and was the first Mitchell scholar selected from NYU. During her Mitchell year, she studied Gender, Globalisation, and Rights at the University Galway. While there, Becca served as class representative in the Student Union, played volleyball for the Irish National Team, and worked for the global venture capital firm SOSV. In 2018, Becca co-founded Chess for Girls, a 20,000-member organization that empowers girls across New York City through chess. She also taught inmates at Rikers Island, helping them earn chess qualifications so that they could improve their hiring prospects upon release. As a law student, she worked for the Fair Labor Association, Clifford Chance, and served as a Research Assistant to Professor Todd Huntley. Her current work considers the role of international law in detainee interrogations.
